Our annual summer camps make planning for your child's summer easier!

We offer a variety of programs and classes, including Outdoor Education, Academics, Computer Fun, Performing Arts, Sports, Vacation Bible School, Indoor and Outdoor Games, Arts and Crafts, and Fun Field Trips.  Friends and neighbors are welcome!  Before and after care is available for your convenience for an additional fee.

WLS Summer Fun Camp-  June 19 - September 1

Summer Fun Camp is a fun, friendly, and family-oriented program!  We are committed to creating a safe, enriching and caring environment for our students and friends.  Theme weeks have been planned and each day will include arts and crafts, morning activities, and theme basis projects. Basketball Camp

Session 1 June 19 - June 23 Session 2 August 21 - August 25

Basketball Camp, directed by Mr. Asberry, is open to boys and girls of all levels of play. The goal is to encourage children to develop skills in a non-competitive environment. Registration Form

 

Building for Success at WLS-  $200 per session

Sign up for WLS SUMMER SKILL BUILDING! Classes Mondays through Thursdays from 9 – 11:30 am Our summer teaching staff will consist of teachers from our regular teaching staff. These teachers know what is expected in the year ahead and can help to prepare you for a successful academic year.   Registration Form

 

Movie Making Magic-  

July 10 - July 14 $285 ($300 After May 5)

Come join us for a week of exciting fun! Act, direct, operate the camera and build sets. Students will be full immersed in the art of film making. Participants will study Foley art (Sound effects), movie magic (Special effects), and script writing. We will produce a movie in one week. Registration Form

 

Vacation Bible School

July 24 - July 28 $100 (Sign up by July 15)

This year's VBS theme is Mighty Fortress - In Jesus, the Victory Is Won! At Mighty Fortress kids will look into the Bible, God's Holy Word, to discover the God is our Might Fortress, our Shield, and our Deliverer.  They will enjoy crafts, games, Bible stories, snacks and more! The fee for the week is $100 per student which includes all materials and snacks.  Registration Form

Explore and problem solve by learning to program and create fun apps that work on computers and gadgets like iPads and Android tablets. Make your very own video games, puzzles, drawing tools, music apps, simulations, and much more.

Maker Camp

August 14 - August 18  $285 ($300 after May 5)

Are your kids interested in DIY, making, creating, crafting, hacking, tinkering, and learning. Campers work as scientists, engineers, and designers. Through the investigation of simple and motorized machines, circuits,  the use of gears and sensors, and through programming they learn the basics of physics and the concepts behind real machines. Campers make projects, go on virtual field trips, and interact with their instructors. Registration Form

 

Minecraft Adventure-  $285 ($300 after May 5)

Session 1 June 16 - June 30 / Session 2July 31 - August 4

Come join us as we explore, learn, problem solve, and create amazing and unique worlds together using the popular game Minecraft. Minecraft is a 3D simulation game in which players work on their own, or collaboratively, to discover resources and use them to craft and build a unique world.

Basketball Camp $250 per session

Basketball Camp, directed by Mr. Asberry, is open to boys and girls of all levels of play. The goal is to encourage children to develop skills in a non-competitive environment. Invite your friends from the neighborhood too!

In a clinic format, Students are instructed in the fundamentals of shooting, passing, , and dribbling.   Students are place in teams to practice their new offensive and defensive skills in a game situation. Kids take part in age specific station-to-station training and play scrimmages and games with comparable skilled players.  Campers learn warm-up, stretching, and injury prevention techniques.  Instructions is provided for individual and group setting.

Students will build out of LEGO EV3® and WEDO® WEDO2.0® construction sets and program their models featuring working motors, motion and tilt sensors and sounds by using software on our computers. We will explore circuits with Littlebits and create hands on Projects. Campers finish the week with a trip to the California Science Center

Come join us as we explore, learn, problem solve, and create amazing and unique worlds together using the popular game Minecraft. Minecraft is a 3D simulation game in which players work on their own, or collaboratively, to discover resources and use them to craft and build a unique world. Participants will spend Four days being challenged by puzzles, quests, and games as they learn the ins and outs of Minecraft and then enjoy a day at Knott’s Berry Farm (Session 1) Pacific Park (Session 2).
