"Just Because It's Not Wrong, Doesn't Make It Right -
Teaching Kids to
Think and Act Ethically"
Children's Friendships seem so complicated these
days. Visit any lunchroom or playground and you'll see our
children navigating challenging social situations--exclusion,
taunting, relational aggression, frenemies, competition,
manipulation of younger children by older children --- the list is
endless. Join us as Barbara Coloroso, acclaimed speaker,
educator and author shares valuable information on how to teach kids
to think and act ethically.

LOST &
FOUND
Please label ALL items brought to school with at least your child's
first initial and last name (adding the class is also helpful), and
we will try to return these items, when lost, to your child.
Our Lost and Found rack, where we hang items that we can't identify,
is located right as you walk in from the pedestrian entrance on 77th
Street. Please check this rack for any lost items before
Friday, March 12. All unclaimed items will be donated to the
next Used Uniform Sale. If you are missing an item that you
cannot locate on the rack and is labeled, please contact Karen Sosa
at
karensosoca@sbcglobal.net

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FROM OUR SAFETY COMMITTEE:
DROP/OFF PICK/UP - Do not park on street (Alverstone,
Arizona, 77th) and walk your child to class. The city
requires that all Westchester Lutheran families use the drive
through drop off and pick up. If you need to come on campus,
please park in the spaces in front of the Fellowship Hall.
Do NOT park in the drive through lanes
CELL PHONE USE - It is against the law to use your cell
phone while driving. More importantly, it is dangerous. We
need everyone to focus on the children while on campus. Your
cooperation is expected.
SPEED
LIMIT ON CAMPUS – 5 MPH - again this rule is for the safety of
our students. It is especially important
that you slow down even more when making the turn through the
underpass .
