Extra Curricular Activities


KIDS OF THE KINGDOM CHOIR  K-2nd - Beginning Monday, September 12.  -  3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Kids of the Kingdom sing for the morning worship service (10:00 a.m.) at Westchester Lutheran Church on the
SECOND SUNDAY of each month. 

YOUNG BELIEVERS CHOIR  3rd-5th  -Beginning Wednesday, September 14.  -  3:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Young Believers sing for the morning worship service (10:00am) at Westchester Lutheran Church on the FIRST SUNDAY of each month.

YOUTH CHOIR 6th - 8th  -Beginning Thursday, September 15.  -  3:25 p.m. - 4:25 p.m.
Youth choir sing for the morning service (10:00 a.m.) at Westchester Lutheran Church on the THIRD SUNDAY of each month.

All Choirs participate in some special worship services such as Praise Service, Christmas and Easter.
Their  time is spent enjoying a snack, rehearsing for our Sunday anthems and other special events, leaning music skills, and crafts.
 


 


 
 

FUN-DAMENTALZ BASKETBAL 2011-2012   (SPRING TIME)

Fundamentalz is an after school basketball class being offered to children who have an interest in basketball. In clinic format, this class will instruct students in shooting, passing, offensive/defensive moves, and dribbling..  Children will take part in age specific station-to-station training.  Instruction will be provided individually and in a group setting.

CHESS CLUB 2011-2012
8 week After School Chess Program

Starts: November 15, 2011 - Tuesdays 3:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Fee: $96 for 8 weeks

Let all Pawns, Knights, Bishops, Rooks, Queens and Kings gather around for a fun filled exciting 8 week workshop as we learn & play the game of chess.  Students will develop critical thinking skills, learn to plan ahead, and methods to think before they act.  They will learn to see patterns, solve problems and be more deliberate.

Mad Science Extravaganza
In this electrifying session of Mad Science, mini-scientists will experiment with a variety of fascinating topics.  Students will get a charge out of our plasma balls, and explore the states of matter with dry ice and gooey slime.  Things will really get moving with simple machines, fundamentals forces, and thrilling rocket launch!  The fizzy flavor challenge will tickle your taste buds in this Mad Science Extravaganza!
