Something
odd is going on at the Centerville Children's Theatre Company.
Rehearsal is interrupted when six fairy tale characters suddenly appear
on stage. Each has been left out of a classic fairy tale: Cinderella's
friendly step-sister, the eighth and oversized dwarf (Shorty) Hansel and
Gretel's dense sister, the fourth little piggy, Sleeping Beauty's zombie-like sister, and Jasper, the not-so-little bear. If they are to live again they must convince the Director and Stage Manager to act out
their stories. As the stories unfold from new points of view, familiar
tales get a comic makeover.
